Mrs. Della L. Everson, 77 widow of Oliver Perry Everson died Thursday morning in the Ben Hur Home. She had been in failing health 4 years and seriously ill 3 months. Born March 21, 1882, at St. Joseph, Illinois, Mrs. Everson was the daughter of Frank and Charlotte Bowers Hoss. She was a member of the 1st Christian Church and a resident of Crawfordsville most of her life. Survivors include a son, Gordon Everson of Phoenix, AZ; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Baldwin of the Indianapolis Star & News Staff; a brother, Orville Hoss of New Market; five sisters, Mrs. Earl Bonwell and Mrs. Lloyd Etter both of New Market; Mrs. Byrd Blaser and Mrs. Maude Peterson, both of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Jack Stawlings of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two children. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Rev. Paul Million will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday.
